Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our Controller by preparing various schedules, performing account reconciliations, and overseeing the work of our Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) specialists. Proficiency in financial tools like Bill.com, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Controller by preparing schedules and performing account reconciliations as required.

  • Supervise the work of the AP/AR specialist(s) to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.

  • Provide support during audits and assist in resolving audit queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.

  • Atleast 5 years of experience in accounting roles.

  • Proficiency in Bill.com, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct is required.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

  • Prior experience supervising or managing the work of others is preferred.
