Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our Controller by preparing various schedules, performing account reconciliations, and overseeing the work of our Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) specialists. Proficiency in financial tools like Bill.com, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Support the Controller by preparing schedules and performing account reconciliations as required.
Supervise the work of the AP/AR specialist(s) to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.
Provide support during audits and assist in resolving audit queries.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
Atleast 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
Proficiency in Bill.com, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
Prior experience supervising or managing the work of others is preferred.
