Job Summary:
As a Consumer Insights Manager, you’ll lead efforts to understand our customers’ behaviors, preferences, and pain points. You’ll translate data into actionable strategies that enhance product development, marketing campaigns, and customer retention. This role requires a mix of analytical rigor, creativity, and storytelling to influence cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Market & Consumer Research:
Design and execute qualitative/quantitative research (surveys, focus groups, interviews) to uncover consumer trends.
Analyze customer journey touchpoints (website, social media, email) to identify friction points and opportunities.
Monitor competitor strategies and industry trends to inform business decisions.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Synthesize data from Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g., Klaviyo), and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) to track KPIs (CLV, conversion rates, churn).
Build dashboards (using tools like Looker or Tableau) to visualize insights for stakeholders.
Present findings to leadership with clear recommendations for product, marketing, and CX teams.
Customer Segmentation:
Develop personas and segmentation models to tailor marketing efforts and personalize experiences.
Collaborate with growth teams to optimize acquisition/retention strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Product teams to validate concepts and prioritize features based on customer feedback.
Support Marketing in crafting data-driven campaigns and measuring ROI.
Innovation:
Stay ahead of emerging tools (e.g., AI-driven analytics) and methodologies to improve insights quality.
Propose experiments (A/B tests, pricing studies) to validate hypotheses.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or analytics, with a preference for DTC or e-commerce sectors.
Proficiency with survey tools like Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey.
Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, SQL, and Looker/Tableau.
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI tools.
Strong storytelling ability to translate data into impactful business insights.
