.NET Developer (Blazor)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to lead the rebuild of a legacy web application into a modern, scalable platform. This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience with .NET and the Blazor framework, with a focus on both frontend development and backend integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working directly with stakeholders to modernize existing functionality—particularly around SMS and mobile payment workflows—while delivering clean, secure, and well-structured code.

Responsibilities:

  • Modernize a legacy web application by rebuilding it using .NET and Blazor (WebAssembly).

  • Own both frontend and backend development, with particular focus on user experience and modern UI architecture.

  • Lead technical decisions regarding architecture, component structure, and integration design.

  • Interface directly with stakeholders to understand project goals, use cases, and pain points.

  • Rebuild and optimize key workflows involving SMS communications and mobile payment integrations.

  • Implement secure, scalable APIs and ensure the application adheres to modern web security standards.

  • Drive the project forward independently while collaborating with business and technical teams.

  • Deliver a working MVP aligned with project timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a .NET Developer, with proven frontend and backend development capabilities.

  • Expertise with Blazor (WebAssembly) and familiarity with building responsive web apps.

  • Strong experience with legacy system modernization or rebuilding monolithic codebases.

  • Solid understanding of web application security, API design, and asynchronous communication.

  • Prior experience working on SMS or mobile payment platforms is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather requirements and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of driving a project with minimal oversight.
