Public Relations Affiliate & Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Public Relations Affiliate & Outreach Coordinator with a background in healthcare to help expand our brand’s visibility and partner network within the healthcare sector. This part-time role focuses on managing affiliate relationships, supporting media outreach efforts, and ensuring all communications are compliant with healthcare industry regulations. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated communicator with experience in public relations, affiliate marketing, or community engagement—preferably in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Affiliate & Partner Management:
Identify, onboard, and manage healthcare-focused affiliates, including influencers, bloggers, medical professionals, and advocacy groups.
Maintain strong, ongoing communication with partners and track engagement performance.
Generate detailed reports on affiliate activities and impact.
Media & Outreach Support:
Write and distribute press releases, targeted email pitches, and other outreach materials.
Secure placements in relevant healthcare publications, blogs, and podcasts.
Assist with organizing virtual and in-person healthcare events and webinars.
Content & Compliance:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create affiliate-facing content like newsletters, articles, and social media materials.
Ensure all materials comply with healthcare standards and guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
Administrative & Reporting:
Maintain a comprehensive media and affiliate contact database.
Provide regular updates on outreach status and affiliate engagement metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in PR, affiliate marketing, or outreach—ideally in a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of healthcare trends and compliance considerations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Analytics, Canva, and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Existing connections in healthcare media or affiliate networks is a plus.
Experience using email outreach and marketing tools such as Mailchimp and HubSpot is a plus.
