Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor with a strong background in creating performance-driven marketing videos for social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of editing compelling short-form content that maximizes engagement, conversions, and ROI on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. This role requires creativity, speed, and a keen understanding of the nuances of social media algorithms and performance marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality, engaging video content optimized for various social media platforms.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop video content that supports paid advertising campaigns, including but not limited to product promotions, customer testimonials, and brand storytelling.

  • Implement performance marketing strategies by incorporating data-driven insights into video content to drive conversions and engagement.

  • Optimize video formats for platform-specific requirements (aspect ratios, durations, etc.) ensuring all videos meet technical and quality standards.

  • Cut, trim, and assemble footage into polished, audience-grabbing videos, often on tight timelines.

  • Create dynamic motion graphics and text overlays that enhance the story and boost retention.

  • Stay updated on social media trends and performance metrics to continuously innovate and refine content creation.

  • Work with creative briefs and adapt concepts to various campaign goals, ensuring brand consistency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing for paid media, specifically for social media platforms.

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop

  • Experience in performance marketing and a solid understanding of how to optimize videos for paid media.

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for each platform.

  • Excellent storytelling skills with a strong sense of pacing, visual design, and sound design.

  • Basic graphic design and motion graphics skills are a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
